Kiara Ana is a violist, violinist and vocalist based in Los Angeles.

She has spent the better part of the last four years touring and when she’s not on the road, Kiara keeps her schedule full with studio sessions, live performances with bands and solo artists. She also regularly practices and teaches yoga.

She is a founding member and violist of the Los Angeles based string quartet, Orchid Quartet. The group is comprised of four freelance string players who became close friends on a monthlong tour through 10 countries in 2014. The women of Orchid Quartet have recorded for artists including MAX, Chika, Lido, Morgxn and have recorded for various TV shows and feature films. In November of 2018, Orchid Quartet traveled to China for a month long tour where they performed in beautiful concert halls in 15 different cities. Among their other work, Orchid Quartet is currently performing as part of Fever US “Candlelight Concert” series in Los Angeles.

Recently, Kiara has appeared on the Late Late Show with James Corden (with Blackbear), The Billboard Music Awards (with Halsey), The Voice and MTV VMAs (with Panic! at the Disco) and America’s Got Talent The Champions (with Marcelito Pomoy and Puddles Pity Party). She was the violinist for Gwen Stefani’s NBC Christmas special “You Make It Feel Like Christmas” and appeared on The Tonight Show, The Today Show, Macy’s Day Parade and Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting in support of that release. In 2018 she performed at Coachella for the first time, playing viola for Eminem and playing viola and singing BGVs for Alina Baraz.

Kiara has toured nationally with Adele, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and Bleu and internationally with Ariana Grande, Panic! at the Disco, and the Japanese sensation Yoshiki. During those tours, she had the opportunity to perform in arenas, stadiums and concert halls in Belgium, Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, The Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, the United Kingdom and the United States. She has collaborated and performed with many other notable artists including Coldplay, The Jonas Brothers, Justin Bieber, David Foster, Josh Groban, X-Japan, Alexz Johnson,Ty Taylor, Cynthia Erivo, Shoshana Bean, Rumer Willis and Adam Pascal.

Kiara studied viola with Kathryn Lockwood of the Lark Quartet through high school. For her undergraduate studies, she was taught by Michelle LaCourse as well as guest teachers at various international music festivals. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Viola Performance from Boston University’s School of Music.
